McCullum drops plans to sue John Parker
Brendon McCullum has dropped his plans to sue former skipper John Parker after receiving an apology from the latter over claims he said attacked his integrity during the captaincy saga involving McCullum and Ross Taylor. The New Zealand skipper was initially set to sue the John Parker panel for making unfounded allegations against him during the captaincy saga which tarnished his name in public domain. Parker had alleged earlier that McCullum knew about and was involved in the decision to axe his predecessor Taylor, despite McCullum himself denying the allegations.
However in the document John Parker stated that Brendon McCullum knew of the coach Mike Hesson's movements all along, according to certain players.
