2 jailed 17 months
Court Reporter TWO Chitungwiza men will spend the next 17 months in prison for housebreaking and stealing a 32-inch plasma television and a cellphone valued at US$640.Thomas Mukai (21) and his friend Knowledge Matsuku (24) both of Unit L Chitungwiza pleaded guilty to unlawful entry and theft charges. They appeared before Chitungwiza magistrate Mr Kudakwashe Jarabini who slapped them each with a two-year prison term. Mr Jarabini suspended five months of their sentence on condition of good behaviour.
During the same night, the court heard that Mukai and Matsuku proceeded to Mushavatu’s house.
