New twist in Wendall trial
Court Reporter Former Big Brother star’s trial took a new twist as the court heard that Wendall Parson was made to pay $1 650 which was to be transferred into Armour Khan Insurance Brokers (Pvt) bank account as insurance premium when the actual premium was just $654. Testifying in court AK Insurance director Armour Khan told the court that it was simply a genuine error which they later clarified with Alliance Insurance. Wendall’s lawyer Mr Harrison Nkomo, said the inconsistencies in the figures were an indication that the figures were ‘manufactured’ by AK Insurance to cover up their deceitful dealings.
“Those documents were manufactured to cover up and pin my client because he is not aware of the transaction of March 18. Mr Nkomo asked Khan to produce the response on the issue from Alliance, to which he said he was unable to do as they had communicated through the phone....
