Zimbabwean UK Athletics Coach Shines In Moscow
Successful Zimbabwean UK based athletics coach Stanley Madiri is currently in Moscow where his athlete Jodie Williams qualified in the women`s 200m semi finals at the IAAF World Championships in Moscow on Thursday. Williams clocked 23.00secs in heat 6, and she came fourth. Madiri is also the former coach of UK athlete Christine Uhurugu who won the women`s 400m in the World Athletics championships in Moscow on Thursday, she becomes the first British woman to win two World Championship titles.
Madiri said he chose to coach athletics because “I am fascinated by human movement and have a passion for speed hence sprints”.
